Abstract

The  article  presents  part  of  the  results  of  an  empirical  study  of  170 individuals   conducted   in   2022-2023   regarding   the   presence   of   a   hypochondriacal predisposition. It is based on the complex research method proposed by the author, including
an  assessment  for  the  presence  of  anxiety  and  somatic  disorders,  a  test  to  determine hypochondriacal  predisposition,  establishing  stress  symptoms  and  personality  resilience  in various  life  areas,  as  well  as  a  screening  proposed  by  the  author  for  determination  of hypochondriacal predisposition. The established correlations between the scales of the MTG test  for  psychosomatic  predisposition  and  the  scale  for  the  presence  of  hypochondria  compiled by us were analyzed.
