Abstract

This article explores critical strategic decisions for transforming the urban environment into a smart and sustainable system. It analyzes managerial and economic mechanisms within the domains of energy efficiency, mobility, civic engagement, and environmental management. Through the lens of the original SUIS model, the study defines standardized solutions aimed at enhancing resource autonomy and operational adaptability in contemporary cities, specifically within the Bulgarian context.
