Abstract

This article analyzes the state requirements for obtaining higher education in specialties of the regulated profession "Engineer in investment design". Based on a comparative review of compulsory discipline groups and their minimum hours, a model is proposed for integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into the existing regulatory framework without violating minimum requirements. Comparison with examples from leading European higher education institutions and global trends outlines a possible path for updating Bulgarian curricula.
