The article highlights the main highlights of the need to implement a set of practices affecting the emotional comfort and balance of workers in inpatient mental health centers in the Republic of Bulgaria. Caring for the emotional balance and quality of life of professionals working in such healthcare facilities differs from providing supervision, it is aimed directly at the better functioning of these specialists, and hence the correlation with the increased quality of the performance of professional duties. The main purpose of the article is to focus on the emotional health and quality of life of these professionals working with very severe mental pathology and abnormal behavior. In recent years in Bulgaria, in the field of mental health, the focus has been on improving the quality of life of people with mental disorders, with too little attention being paid to the well-being of professionals in clinical psychiatric practice.
