Abstract

The phrase "adolescence" is very common in the world. In every family with children, there comes a time when the children reach this age. A very challenging age for children and parents.
There are children who go through this period in a relaxed way and some go through it in the form of a pursuit of breaking away from rules, educational frameworks and more.
We will try to see in this article, the historical progression for this period in life.
We note that the definition of this age was made at a very late period.
We will see different approaches of psychologists to interpret behavior in a period of time of this age.
