Abstract

This second article is essentially the second part of a unified text on the
philosophical and psychological characteristics of ancient Chinese martial arts (Wu Shu),
framed within an existential-phenomenological consideration. The article concretizes the styles
and techniques of various martial representations in a training-practical plan, conceptualizing
the mystical-applied meaning of discrete visualizations of qi energy and the productive meaning
of the overall complex of qigong exercises. Also highlighted in a cross-cultural context are
some of the connections/influences of Chinese masters' practices with some other martial arts
of the East and West.
