STRATEGIC ANALYSIS AND PLANNING IN NEXT-GENERATION PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE

Abstract

Urbanization, climate change, and digitalization demand a shift in the management of urban systems. The aim of this study is to conduct a strategic analysis of next-generation public infrastructure. As a result, specific vulnerabilities and opportunities are identified through a SWOT analysis, key performance indicators are defined, and innovative financing schemes for the implementation of smart city projects are outlined.
