Abstract

The focal point of this article is the exploration of self-regulation and its application within the educational context as a critical factor for academic success and student development. The article discusses theoretical frameworks established by prominent psychologists such as Albert Bandura and the duo Edward Deci and Richard Ryan, highlighting the importance of self-monitoring, self-evaluation, self-reaction, and the role of intrinsic motivation and autonomy. Through a quantitative empirical study among 12th-grade students using the Academic Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ-A), we analyze how self-regulatory skills impact academic achievements and learning motivation.
